The Melville Chamber of Commerce has the following specialized committees. These committees provide a forum for participants to collaborate on important business issues, build a productive network of business-to-business relationships and play a role in the decision-making of our organization.

PROGRAM/SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE

Mission: The Program Committee is responsible for planning and fundraising for the Chamber’s events ie Business Expo, Monthly Events etc.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES COMMITTEE

Mission: Promoting Chamber membership, educate new members regarding the benefits of membership, provide members with networking opportunities and assist with membership recruitment and retention. The committee also assists the Chamber with Business Before/After Hours, ribbon cuttings, and groundbreaking ceremonies.

STUDENT INTERN & CAREER COMMITTEE

Mission: This Committee is dedicated to the needs of student internships and career opportunities.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Mission: Ensuring that there is adequate and appropriate monitoring, advocating and oversight on federal, state and local legislation and economic development issues that could affect the Chamber and its members.
